Prepare, this is a dense post! Now I must admit, I was rather late on the formalwear c.2013 Gatsby train. Regardless I do have a fondness for the long, flowy, undefined tea-gown looks for the late 1910s, 20s and 30s. I've been watching a lot of films and shows inspired by these styles for some reason, as well as eternally a fan of New Orleans Jazz and the Harlem Renaissance.

Fleece-lined Tights, My #1 Winter Fashion Buy
Currently I am in North Dakota. Why? Came for the sub-zero temperatures (second coldest place in the country), stayin' for the ever-trendy camo trend. Seriously though, why would I pass up the opportunity to be the token minority in this 90% white state. The state drink is milk. What's New York's? Tears of the working class?
In actuality I've come to eh, support our men in uniform. There's no Chase or Chipotle though. SOS
But hey, I'm in the city home to the fastest internet in America.
I can also literally buy a freaking gun at the damn mall.
My flight out was horrendous. I was stranded for 2 days in Chicago due to flight literally 5 cancellations. I still have nightmares about planes blowing up. But i'm not on them, no, I'm stuck in the terminal. Forever. But yes folks, it turns out I will indeed be turning up for my 21st in Fargo. I'm saddened Steve Buscemi won't be able to make it.

The weather here is miserably cold. The only way to survive is to dress like a local; the customary norm a la basic:

My Rating: 10/10
In the meantime, I shall accept North Dakota isn't exactly the fashion capital of the world and lower my expectations.
